Anna joined us in June 2020. Anna trained at Edinburgh Vet School and, after qualifying in 2007, worked predominantly in small animal practice, before spending 4 years as the Senior Veterinary Surgeon at the PDSA in Derby.
She has a particular passion for all things 'eyes', having completed her BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Small Animal Veterinary Ophthalmology in March 2018. She has spent the last two years forming a key part of the referral ophthalmology team at Pride, Derby and is looking forward to being able to offer referral eye clinics to our patients here at Blenheim.
Continuing to integrate Blenheim's services with the local Ashbourne community is really important to Anna and she is very much looking forward to getting to know all of you and your pets.
Most of Anna's time outside of work is occupied by her young daughter, and her role within the family rocking horse business, where she hand paints all of the new horses carved by her husband as well as numerous antiques restorations. She's rather a dab hand at calligraphy too and when she does get a few moments spare (which are few and far between) she also enjoys yoga and walking with her two rescue dogs Millie and Mouse.
